We asked Sal and Elke, owners and designers of Halcyon Daze, to share their thoughts and inspiration behind each of the spectacular pieces that you'll see rocking the beaches of Byron Bay and beyond this summer.
Palma One Piece
This is our take on the staple black one piece. The fabric is a buttery soft lux rib, which we're just loving this summer.
Its silhouette is simple yet unique with the perfect balance of coverage and cutouts in just the right places. We designed it to flatter all shapes and sizes and we've loved the feedback we've received from this style so far. People are saying it's their must-have staple!
This piece really is our signature resort piece. We imagine you wearing it while sipping cocktails at a beach front bar in Palma (or at least feeling like you are)! Throw on some silk pants and this classic piece doubles as a body suit. Voila, you’re ready to dance the night away!
Nina One Piece
This gorgeous piece is heavily vintage inspired and very true to our sense of style. We adore the cute little ruched bust detail, which is flattering for big or small busts and gives this piece a real feminine touch.
The Nina has moderate coverage, so it's 100% surf friendly - we've tested this multiple times! We chose the name Nina, meaning girl friend in Spanish, as we wanted it to be the perfect summer companion for all sorts of summer play. We chose to make this piece in our hand drawn signature sand dollar print, with shimmery golds and bronzes, it’s the perfect amount of glam for your holiday adventures.
Mallorca One Piece
Our most versatile one piece, with ruched side details. Wear them high for a cheeky coverage, or pull them down for a more conservative coverage.....however the mood takes you.
We wanted to make a one-piece that had a sweetness and prettiness about it, so we made it in the beautiful sage colour with a gold bead detail for a little touch of sparkle, which really completes this. This piece will become your summer go-to. We see it worn with tanned legs and ocean-kissed hair, and teamed with a crisp white shirt, cut-off shorts and tan sandals to take you from the beach to the bar.
Ibiza String Bikini
We love the classic string bikini and think that every woman needs one in her summer wardrobe! What screams summer holidays more? Our take on this style features a triangle silhouette, with a knot detail and gold beads. It also has adjustable straps, to make it adaptable for different bust sizes.
We made this bikini in a shimmery blue that sparkles like the Mediterranean...... holiday in Mallorca anyone?
Bonita Ring Top and Bottom Bikini
This is our personal favourite style, which we think epitomises what our brand is all about. We designed this bikini with tortoiseshell resin rings that will last the summers through, without the rust or discolouration that metal rings can cause on swimwear.
Our classic cut bottoms feature matching rings. They have a moderate coverage and can be pulled up for a high cut silhouette or worn on the hip.
The Ring Top and Bottom Bikini is perfect for sun baking in....we see it being worn whilst laying under a palm tree on tropical island, surrounded by turquoise waters.
