Today we introduce you to Lea Ann Duhaylungsod, one of our favourite surf muses and the ultimate beach girl if there ever was one! With her lust for surfing, the ultimate tan and long sun kissed locks, Lea embraces all those beach loving, natural and free spirited qualities that make her an idyllic Halcyon Daze muse.
Hailing from the laid back tropical island of Siargao in the Philippines, Lea’s sun soaked Instagram feed is sure to have you day dreaming of balmy days spent lazing under coconut trees, graceful, endless summer long board slides and awe inspiring pink tropical sunsets.

Tell us about yourself?
I'm Lea. I live in an island in the Philippines where surfing is our lifestyle. So that makes me like surfing and being surrounded by nature. I also like taking photos. Both digital and film. But film especially. :). I'm running a small resort by the beach.

Daughter, Sister, Friend
Where do you call home?
Siargao Island where the waves are familiar to me and where my heart is.
What do you enjoy most about living in Siargao?
Surfing
What is your favourite place in the world?
Although I like traveling a lot, I still prefer to be at home
What does your typical day consist of?
I start it with a coffee and a vegan pancake, check my home breaks and grab my longboard to surf. Then I prepare meals for me and my boyfriend and check emails and do some work.
How do you spend your days off?
Surfing, playing with my dog, reading a good book and having coffee in my favorite local coffee shop.
Where do you source inspiration?
In nature most of the time. Especially the sun. I like to take photos using natural light.
What made you decide to pursue a career in hospitability?
Working in the hospitality industry is the easiest way to land a job and earn since my country is a tourist destination. And I like traveling.
What did you study after high school?
A degree in Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management
How would you describe your personal style?
Simple and natural.
What is your daily beauty routine? Are there any products you swear by?
I just put coconut oil on my skin and hair from Kapuluan Coconut once in a while but I don't follow a special routine.
What is your signature scent?
I have a shampoo with coconut scent and it's so strong it becomes my scent.

I'm currently reading the Essentialism book by Greg Mckeown.
Favourite restaurants?
Shady Shack in Bali.
What is it you love about Halcyon Daze?
